Fit & Sizing — Measure, Don't Guess

FAE is an Australian label. A FAE Large is a US 8–10 and carries a D–E cup. A Vitamin A Large is a US 12–14 — the same letter, four US sizes apart, on the same website. Use the inches.

• Between sizes: size UP. FAE's own guidance across the range.
• The V-wire is real support — this is one of only two pieces in our FAE assortment with engineered bust structure, the other being the Gigi top. If you have given up on one-pieces holding a fuller bust, start here.
• Under bust is the critical measurement on a wired style — that is where the V seats. Measure directly beneath the bust, without a bra.
• Adjustable straps give genuine range for a long torso, which most structured one-pieces do not.
• Lined, not padded. Shape comes from the wire and the bind.
• Colour note: FAE shoots much of its photography on film and shades vary between production runs.

Sustainability

ECONYL® is a regenerated Italian techno-nylon made entirely from post-consumer waste — fishing nets recovered from the ocean, industrial plastic, plastic bottles. It is also measurably more resistant to chlorine, sunscreen, and body oils than conventional swim fabric, which is the practical reason these outlast cheaper suits rather than simply feeling better about themselves.

Care

• Rinse in cold fresh water immediately after every wear, before salt or chlorine dries in.
• Hand wash cold with mild detergent. Never machine wash — agitation destroys wire casing.
• Press water out gently, never wring.
• Dry flat in shade. Never a dryer, never direct sun.
• Let sunscreen and body oil absorb fully before dressing.
• Store flat rather than folded through the bust.
