Vitamin A x Fred Segal Louise One Piece - Sky Blue BioRib
Product Details
Fred Segal has spent sixty years deciding what Los Angeles looks like before Los Angeles knows. Vitamin A has spent twenty-five deciding what it swims in. The Louise One Piece in Sky Blue BioRib is what happened when they collaborated — a pale, washed cerulean in a fine bio-based rib, cut high on the leg and clean across the back. It is the colour of the water at Cala Comte in the hour before anyone else arrives, and it is a limited-edition run that will not be produced again.

Fit & Sizing
Take your normal Vitamin A size. Vitamin A grades one-pieces as XS = US 4, S = US 6, M = US 8, L = US 10, XL = US 12 — the numeric size is shown alongside each option so you can cross-reference against a suit you already own.
- Between sizes: Size down. The rib gives more than it looks like it will.
- Cut: The Louise shares its architecture with Vitamin A's Leah — scoop neck, adjustable straps, high leg, full seat. If the Leah fits you, this will.
- Long torso: The adjustable straps carry genuine range at the shoulder.
- Bust: Unlined and unstructured. Best on an A–C cup. The scoop offers shape, not engineered support.
- The high leg sits at the hip bone and lengthens the leg line. If you want coverage at the upper thigh, this is the wrong cut.
Sustainability Details
BioRib is Vitamin A's bio-based ribbed textile — part of the brand's move away from petroleum-derived virgin synthetics and toward plant-derived and regenerated fibres. Vitamin A was founded in Southern California by Amahlia Stevens and has built its reputation on making the sustainable option the technically better one: fabrics engineered to survive salt, sun, and chlorine rather than degrade after a season.
The second argument is simpler. This suit is new with tags — curated, not newly manufactured. Nothing entered production to fill this order. On a limited-edition collaboration that is no longer made, buying it here is the only way it stays in circulation at all.
Care Instructions
- Rinse in cold fresh water immediately after every wear, before salt or chlorine dries.
- Hand wash cold with a mild detergent. Never machine wash.
- Press water out gently. Do not wring or twist the rib.
- Dry flat in shade — dryer heat and direct sun are what actually destroy technical swim fabric.
- Let sunscreen and body oils absorb fully before dressing; oils break down elastane.
- Avoid sitting directly on rough teak, concrete, or pool edges.
Who It's For
Anyone who already knows they fit the Vitamin A Leah. Collectors of limited-run collaborations. Anyone who wants a soft, sun-washed blue rather than a saturated one. Long torsos. Anyone who wants a high leg with full rear coverage.
Who It's Not For
Anyone needing underwire or built-in bust support. Anyone who wants coverage at the upper thigh. Anyone who prefers a loose, forgiving fit — this is cut close by design.
