Fit & Sizing — Measure, Don't Guess

Size letters lie. Inches don't. Vitamin A re-graded its sizing after this collection was produced, so the number printed on this suit's hangtag no longer matches the number on Vitamin A's current website. We list both, plus the measurements the garment was actually cut to. Take a tape measure to yourself once and you will never guess again.

How to measure: bust at the fullest point with the tape straight across your back; waist at the narrowest part of your torso; hips at the fullest point, roughly 7–8 inches below the waist. Measure without clothing, tape snug and parallel to the floor.

• Between two sizes: size down. BioRib has substantial four-way stretch and strong recovery — it gives more than it looks like it will.
• Long torso: the adjustable straps carry genuine range at the shoulder. This is one of the few high-leg one-pieces that doesn't pull down on a long torso.
• Bust: unlined, unstructured, no underwire. Shape without engineered support — best at a C cup or below.
• Cut reference: architecturally identical to Vitamin A's Leah. If the Leah fits you, this fits you.
• The high leg sits at the hip bone and lengthens the leg line. It does not cover the upper thigh.

BioRib is Vitamin A's bio-based ribbed textile — part of the brand's move away from petroleum-derived virgin synthetics toward plant-derived and regenerated fibres. Vitamin A was founded in Southern California by Amahlia Stevens and has spent twenty-five years proving the sustainable option can also be the technically better one: fabric engineered to hold shape and colour through salt, sun, and chlorine rather than fail after a season.

The second argument is the one most sustainability copy skips. This suit is new with tags — curated, not manufactured to order. Nothing entered production because you bought it.
